Jonny Walker

It is with great sadness that we have to share the news of Jonny Walker’s death. Jonny died peacefully after three days in the Critical Care Unit at Leeds General Infirmary, surrounded by family, on the morning of 14th March 2018.

Jonny was a patron of Inn Churches and was hugely supportive of our work, playing at our annual Suits on the Streets event and our volunteer evenings, and going without alcohol for a year to raise funds for us.

Jonny’s family released the following statement:

It is with great sorrow but immense thankfulness for a passionately lived life, that after 3 days in the Critical Care Unit at Leeds General Infirmary, Jonny died peacefully, at 11:13am today, surrounded by family.

During the coming days, his family ask that you allow them time to grieve.

Details of opportunities to celebrate and remember Jonny’s life will follow in due time.
